A special model called "J-45 Standard Color Collection" based on the classic J-45 Standard with different colors and finishes has finally arrived in Japan!
This is a tri-burst that has a reddish tinge than the regular VS (vintage sunburst), and is finished with a VOS finish that gives you a vintage-like texture.

The J-45 is a round shoulder acoustic guitar that was created in 1942 as the successor to the J-35.
This model has been loved by many musicians and guitarists to this day, and has the nickname "The Workhorse."

The original J-45 reigned as the representative round shoulder model for 28 years since its birth. However, in 1970, it entered a period of change and transformed into square shoulders and long scales.
Production ended in 1982, but it was revived in 1984 as the long-awaited "Round Shoulder & 24-3/4" scale.
"J-45 Standard" was born as a new model in 2009, and since then minor updates such as the pickup and treatment of the oiled fingerboard edges have been made, and it continues to be the current model.

The BODY is made entirely of veneer, with Sitka spruce on the top and mahogany on the sides and back.
Adopts a flat teardrop pickguard and 1-ring rosette with 3Ply binding.
Equipped with L.R. Baggs Element VTC, Volume/Tone control is possible next to the sound hole edge.
Another distinctive feature is that the edges of the fingerboard are rounded, allowing for smooth fingering.
Employs Mother of Pearl inlays, Graphtec nuts, and GROVER rotomatic pegs with a gear ratio of 14:1.
The glue-adhesive dovetail neck joint and nitrocellulose lacquer finish are familiar!
L.R. Baggs Element VTC has a more balanced sound, which will come in handy at live performances!
The loud BODY sound due to scalloped X bracing is still alive and well! The low and midrange frequencies are unique to J-45!
When you play with dynamics, you can hear the sound typical of the J-45!
